Going to Maui. Have the book Maui Revealed. Suggestions on snorkeling/ scuba boat trips? Scuba intros.?

Q) I want to see turtles, fish galore, and a dolphin would be awesome. Please give suggestions of best spots and boat companies and scuba companies.

A) There is plenty of great snorkeling in maui. You can go from the beach in some places (I saw some turtles, manta rays, eels, and all sorts of great fish directly off the beach in front of the four seasons), but the best bet is to go on a tour. Most of them will take you to Molokini - a volcanic crater off the coast with some amazing sealife (although with tons of tourists too). Many tours will also include turtle arches, which is underwater lava formations and plenty of turtles. When choosing your tour, just decide what kind of boat you want to be on - huge, big or small. Personally I find the monster boats with 75 people too much. Enjoy!
